All our cloth is woven by craftsmen from pure first quality cotton thread.
This twined thread called "retors" in technical terms, is made of two threads rolled together to produce one final thread. We use this type of thread in the weft as well as in the warp which partly gives our cloth this rough effect.

The natural colour of our cotton is off-white. Its coloration, specific to Les Toiles du Soleil, comes from a staining process named "grand teint". This quality of dyeing guarantees a better hold of the colours.
We have two types of canvas available: 100% cotton and a non-fading synthetic range.

There are shipments arriving from France on a continual basis and an ever-changing range.

Our fabrics are woven in 2 widths: 174 cm and 43 cm.

All fabrics are sold by the metre.
